KARAN: SRPSKA HAS MODERN AND STRONG POLICE, GUARANTOR OF SECURITY

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 4 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Interior Minister Siniša Karan says the Srpska Police is the guarantor of the safety of all citizens, Srpska is a safe place to live that has a modern and strong police force.
Karan has stated that the Police was born when Republika Srpska was born, and has been living with Srpska since then. "Today, the MoI and its police are the guarantors of the safety of all Republika Srpska citizens. Republika Srpska is a safe place to live for all its citizens. Today we have a modern, strong and powerful police force, which is capable of being and is the guarantor of stability in Republika Srpska," Karan told the press after the formal gathering over the Police Day at the Training Centre Zalužani. He has emphasized that the present security situation is the best in Republika Srpska characterized by a reduced number of committed crimes and more than 98 percent of solved crimes committed by known and unknown perpetrators. "Public order and peace is favorable, we have a reduced number of violations of public order and peace. Last year we had the fewest deaths in traffic accidents," said Karan. He added that strengthening and equipping the Republika Srpska MoI continues. "We have introduced the High School of Internal Affairs. We find the future precisely in those police officers who are educated, equipped and trained at the High School of Internal Affairs and the Police Academy. They are the guarantor that in the future, Republika Srpska will be a free and stable place to live, and that we will have even stronger, better equipped and trained police and the MoI. The police that are at the same time patriotically determined to, above all, protect the constitutional order of Srpska, the life and safety of all citizens." Karan said. He thanked the Republika Srpska institutions, which continue to help the MoI with additional equipment and training annually. Karan congratulated all MoI members and Republika Srpska citizens on April 4 - the Srpska Police Day.
