FOREIGNERS WANT TO CONTROL ELECTIONS IN BiH

BANJA LUKA, JULY 17 /SRNA/ – The leader of SNSD Milorad Dodik said that his party won the last local elections, but that now foreigners want to control the elections in BiH.
Dodik reminded that SNSD won mayoral positions in more than 70 municipalities and cities, and together with local assemblies governs in 80 municipalities and cities, and that it holds power in all ten cities. He noted that in the last election cycle, through the mechanism introduced by Christian Schmidt, SNSD achieved better results in 15 places. "We were robbed," Dodik stated. He added that there are indications that a group of German citizens, in agreement with former heads of the Central Election Commission /CEC/, arranged for equipment to be delivered that could not be activated in Germany eight years ago. He pointed out how Schmidt presents himself as a benefactor of BiH, while actually taking away 100 million intended for the election process, which Germany and the USA have abandoned. Dodik believes that the central point should be within some embassy, so that results could be adjusted as they see fit. "They want to control the elections… There is nowhere written that Schmidt should be dealing with the election process. I think what he is doing leads to the dissolution of BiH," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka. He reminded that Republika Srpska has adopted its own Election Law and has no intention of abandoning it unless there is a complete de-escalation in BiH, meaning until all of Schmidt’s decisions are annulled. "Only then can we enter into talks," Dodik added. He noted that the budget of Republika Srpska is stable, that all obligations are being paid, and that there are no visible possibilities of a budgetary or payment system crisis.
