KOŠARAC: DEPARTURE OF SCHMIDT AND OHR NECESSARY FOR BUILDING SOVEREIGN RELATIONS

EAST SARAJEVO, JULY 21 /SRNA/ - The departure of Christian Schmidt and the OHR is necessary to build sovereign relations in BiH, said Staša Košarac, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
"This is a textbook example of a disruptive factor that undermines BiH. He should have left a long time ago, as all the decisions he made caused serious political disturbances in BiH. He should never have been here in the first place. I believe he has a pathological need to harm the Serbian people," Košarac stated. Košarac stated that Schmidt undermined every agreement made by the legitimately elected representatives of Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs, and that the "Troika" pursued a servile policy, supporting decisions that were not in line with the Dayton Agreement. He emphasized that the actions of the "Troika" and Schmidt have led BiH to complete atrophy and a loss of sovereignty. Košarac said that Schmidt undermined every internal agreement by siding with the Bosniak political structure, causing significant political harm in BiH. "Imagine how morbid a person must be to know that they were not legally elected, yet still impose decisions and create problems in the country they came to," Košarac told reporters in East Sarajevo. Košarac said that through its actions, the "Troika" sought to strengthen its position within the BiH structure. He believes that a new High Representative for BiH should not be appointed and that no one should exercise the Bonn powers or make decisions that are not in accordance with the Dayton Agreement. "We have witnessed that Schmidt made decisions contrary to the annexes of the Dayton Agreement, which represents an attack on that agreement, the structure of BiH, the decision-making process, and the need for elected politicians to make decisions in accordance with the Constitution," Košarac said.
