INHUMAN AND SARCASTIC DECISIONS OF THE HAGUE TRIBUNAL

PALE, JULY 31 /SRNA/ - The Creators of Republika Srpska Association has described as scandalous the decision of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals to reject the request to transfer the seriously ill General Ratko Mladić to Serbia for further treatment.

PALE, JULY 31 /SRNA/ - The Creators of Republika Srpska Association has described as scandalous the decision of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals to reject the request to transfer the seriously ill General Ratko Mladić to Serbia for further treatment.

The justification for this inhumane decision, the Association says, is filled with sarcasm and demonstrates a complete disregard for UN rules that the Hague inquisitors must follow in cases involving convicts suffering from multiple illnesses in what is known as the terminal phase, says the Association in a statement. Without a shred of shame, the Association says, the president of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals recommends a Hague cell and the prison infirmary as a "heavenly place to die," instead of the "hell" that Muslim extremists had wished upon and intended for the leading fighter for freedom and defender of the Serb people in the past war. The Creators of Republika Srpska asked whether a similar fate, marked by disregard for actual medical condition, constant psychological pressure, and neglect of basic human rights, also awaits the first President of Republika Srpska Radovan Karadžić. "Many things so far, including the refusal to allow doctors from Republika Srpska to examine Karadžić, show that the life sentence he is serving on the Atlantic outpost south of England is not enough to satisfy the Muslim vanity and their constant thirst for revenge to the very end," the statement says. The Association points out that many other Serbs, Hague convicts scattered across European prisons, are subjected to similar torture and denial of the right to early release, based on absurd justifications. The members of this Association expressed their support for the lawyers and families of General Mladić, Karadžić, and other convicts to continue their fight, also at the international level, for the respect of the UN Charter, including the so-called Mandela Rules and everything they entail, to protect their basic human rights. They recalled that this was explicitly demanded in April by the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. At the same time, they note, this is also a fight to change the narrative that portrays Serbs as the only culprits for the war in BiH. The Creators of Republika Srpska expressed their conviction that, in the foreseeable future, revisions of Hague Tribunal verdicts will be initiated, which will, among other things, show that during the recent war, Serbs primarily defended their ancestral homes and their right to freedom and equality with other peoples. "The time has come to silence Muslim propagandists, both here and abroad, who claim that no punishment, including life imprisonment, is ever enough for Serbs, and that therefore, like with these inhuman measures, they must be further tormented until the worst happens," the Creators of Republika Srpska Association said.
