STJEPANOVIĆ: FALSE VERDICT CONFIRMED TRUTH ABOUT BiH

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ - The legal representative of Republika Srpska Lazar Stjepanović believes that, after the false verdict against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, BiH is definitely sinking into an even deeper mud, and points out that, when the verdict reaches the European Court of Human Rights, the law will be applied in this case for the first time.

"A man who lies to himself and others at a certain moment reaches a moment when he cannot distinguish a lie from the truth and can't see reality with honest eyes. This is exactly how they feel and behave, and primarily the politicians in BiH, who see the conviction of the president of Republika Srpska as a `victory for the judiciary, the state and institutions,`" Stjepanović said. He pointed out that BiH has put itself in a situation where, if it wants to survive, it must continue to live in lies, spread those lies and avoid accepting the truth about itself, the Public Relations Bureau of the Government of Republika Srpska announced. "Lying to yourself, the people and the public that this kind of verdict is legal, that the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH could have been established outside the provisions of the Dayton Agreement, that the aforementioned criminal offense could have been introduced into the Criminal Code of BiH without the parliamentary procedure and legislative bodies, that laws can be changed by someone who has no right to do so, as well as that the high representative can be any foreigner proposed by a couple of embassies of Western countries confirms the truth about BiH, and the truth is that it is a lie to say that BiH is a state," Stjepanović said. He emphasized that it is a lie to say that BiH has institutions, laws, Constitution and sovereignty when the Constitution can be canceled for 24 hours, when the Constitutional Court violates the provisions of Constitution instead of protecting it, when OHR, instead of BiH, fills in the requests for joining EU, and, the most recent example, when legitimately elected president of the Republika Srpska is deprived of his mandate due to a conviction for a non-existent criminal offense. Stjepanović said that politicians in FBiH trust that a lie told a million times will become the truth, that citizens and the public will accept those lies as truth and "become blind in their eyes". However, he states, the Republika Srpska prevents them from such an intention, as a corrective factor, which wants to present things as they are, so that the truth is not distorted, and a lie is put in its place. "Republika Srpska does not want to live a lie, to sell its sovereignty, independence and institutions for the sake of foreign interests, because in that way, it would put itself in the same situation as BiH, a country with special needs that needs foreign professional help, because it does not have the legal capacity to take care of itself," said Stjepanović. He assessed that BiH in its limitations does not see beyond its borders, so the Constitutional Court of BiH will very likely rush to reject the appeal of the defense and once again confirm that it is a truncated institution, both functionally and intellectually, guided again by political interests and not by legal norms. "This proceeding is in fact irrefutable evidence and confirmation that anyone who is ready to speak the truth and fight against lies cannot hold an office, especially not as influential and important as the function of the President of the Republika Srpska. Likewise, this verdict carries a warning for anyone who follows the path of truth that he is not on the right path, but must turn from that path to the path of lies and untruths if he does not want to be judged for the truth," said Stjepanović. But at the moment, he states, when the judgment comes to the European Court of Human Rights, when the law starts to be applied in this case for the first time, when logical questions are asked to which only illogical answers can be given in order to justify the adoption of such a decision, at that moment perhaps, if they have any shame, those who worked on the adoption of this judgment will blush and be ashamed. Stjepnović reminded that the last pillars of the rule of law, constitutionality and sovereignty of BiH have collapsed. "It can no longer be called a state because the institutions do not exist except in those moments when they implement foreign orders, it cannot be considered a member of the UN because it ignores the provisions of the UN Charter, it cannot claim to have the Constitution as the highest legal act, because the same constitution has been violated by institutions such as the Court of BiH, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and a foreign individual. The Constitutional Court of BiH will be the same old non-respecter of the Constitution," concluded Stjepanović.
