AMIDŽIĆ: I WILL NOT SIGN FUNDING FOR ILLEGITIMATE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN SRPSKA

BIJELJINA, SEPTEMBER 1 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers, Srđan Amidžić, said he will never sign a document approving BAM 6.7 million for funding an early election for the President of Republika Srpska, as it is illegitimate.
“As far as the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH is concerned, I will never sign to allow payment for the early election that is illegitimate, meaning it is not legally prescribed in a normal manner,” Amidžić said. He said that the CEC called the election based on a political verdict, as everyone in Republika Srpska has pointed out. Amidžić emphasized that the people of Republika Srpska should know, in simple terms, that their money is being stolen. “You now have a situation where, when you cannot reach a decision or consensus, you illegally give authorization to the assistant, namely Deputy Minister Muhamed Hasanović, to spend Serb money,” Amidžić told ATV. He expects that, regarding the financing of the early election for the President of Republika Srpska, they will most likely try to find a way to bypass him, as they have already done once. “You now have a situation where, according to the law, the payment order or authorization is the responsibility of the Minister of Finance, and that’s me now. You have the OHR and Christian Schmidt, who is illegitimate, and he illegally authorizes Hasanović to do it on my behalf. Then he goes to the Central Bank of BiH, where the governor is a Bosniak. And she says, ‘This is great for me, because Serb money is being spent!’ She signs, and the money goes,” Amidžić said. He believes the biggest mistake was when the Serbs agreed to a unified administration for indirect taxation in BiH. Now there is a foreign factor that, whenever it suits them, excludes the Serbs from accessing the current account and grants authorization to the Bosniaks.
