SERBIA AND SRPSKA SHOULD CONNECT EVEN MORE

BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that Serbia and Srpska should connect even more tightly when it comes to institutions, and that it should be done in larger number of areas, especially in the field of education.
"Education is particularly important. I think we will have to implement another reform. All content of national classes, i.e. what Serbia is introducing, it will be the same in Srpska. Our children have to learn the same story. They are Serbs who learn the same story and there is no reason for them to learn some different history. That is something that we will affirm," emphasized Dodik in Belgrade. He stated that infrastructural connection is important, in which Serbia helped in the past and now maintains that high level of support, but it is equally important in the field of energy. "We must jointly design and base our policies on three to four important pillars, namely the food industry, where Serbia has almost solved that issue, as well as the energy issue that we need to solve together, and there is also the cultural and spiritual renewal of Serbian society and the state. These are the foundations on which the Serbian national being will be based in the future," Dodik told reporters. He stated that it is very important to affirm this now through the session of the Council for Strategic Cooperation, which will be held today. "This is an additional realization of the Declaration of the All-Serbian Council. In all sectors mentioned in the Declaration, cooperation is being achieved. It is almost a unique example in the region of how this type of cooperation can work in what is the will of both," said Dodik. He added that nothing was directed against Bosniaks, but it was aimed at affirming the Serbian national corps and the Republika Srpska. Regarding the Council for the Cooperation of Serbia and Republika Srpska, Dodik said that the session of that body is held once or twice a year and that it is a common thing, as well as that the officials of Serbia and Srpska discuss what they have done and what they need to do.
