BOSNIAK POLITICAL ELITE PERSISTENT IN ITS EFFORTS TO UNDERMINE SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 7 /SRNA/ – The announcement by Republika Srpska Vice President Ćamil Duraković that he will report the existence of a mural dedicated to General Ratko Mladić in Banja Luka to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office shows that the Bosniak political elite is using every possible means to undermine Republika Srpska as an allegedly criminal creation, according to the Veterans' Organization of the Republika Srpska Army /BORS/.

BORS stated that Duraković’s announcement demonstrates that the Bosniak political elite continues its efforts to portray the Serb people and Republika Srpska as criminal, and the Republika Srpska Army as an aggressor force. “For that purpose, they are using every possible means — now even images on a wall have become a problem. They claim those, too, represent a threat. The goal of such politics is to create a narrative that Serbs are aggressors, while the other two peoples in BiH are victims of aggression, with the ultimate aim of undermining Republika Srpska as an allegedly criminal entity,” the statement says. BORS believes that such Bosniak politics is not being met with an adequate political response from Republika Srpska, and called for all efforts to be directed toward defending Srpska from the real dangers it faces.
