DODIK: TRUMP DESERVES NOBEL PRIZES FOR PEACE AND COURAGE

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 11 /SRNA/ - If former U.S. President Barack Obama received one Nobel Prize, then President Donald Trump deserves two - one for the peace he brings, and another for his courage to stand up to forces that know only the language of war, said Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik.

Dodik stated that it is now clear that the only ones who feared Trump’s return were those who are used to thriving on the misfortunes they themselves cause and fuel. "They were afraid, not realizing that Trump had been there all along - in the politics of reason, sovereignty, and peace, in the fight against hypocrisy. Republika Srpska has always been like that and will remain so - ready to support anyone who dares to think and act independently, never giving up on justice, peace, and stability", Dodik wrote on X. He added that Obama received the Nobel Prize in 2009 not for what he had done, but for what people hoped he would do, and it turned out that those hopes were in vain. "During his term, the world was on fire - Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Yemen... Estimates show that more than half a million people were killed in those wars, and millions were displaced. And all that under the hand of a man who already had a Nobel Prize", Dodik pointed out. He noted that, on the other hand, Trump initiated negotiations to address all major conflicts and is the only president who has attempted to end all ongoing wars. "A man who, following the agreement between Israel and the Arab countries, is on the path to restoring peace in Gaza. He strengthens cooperation and dialogue with everyone, instead of seeking conflict with everyone", Dodik emphasized.
