MINIĆ: SRPSKA FISCALLY STABLE

BROD, OCTOBER 23 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić has emphasized today that Srpska is fiscally stable, as evidenced by the fact that in the first half of the year, citizens’ term deposits in banks increased by more than BAM 200 million compared to the same period last year.

“In the structure of term deposits, those belonging to citizens are starting to dominate, which speaks to the seriousness of the situation,” Minić said at a session of the Republika Srpska Government. He stressed that citizens should be aware of this. Republika Srpska Finance Minister, Zora Vidović, states that banks in Srpska are stable, solvent, and well-capitalized. “The stability of banks is a very important parameter for the stability of society. Without stable banks, financial stability is not possible. It is very positive that citizens’ term deposits have increased,” Vidović said.
