DODIK: TODAY, AS 34 YEARS AGO, GOAL REMAINS THE SAME - REPUBLIKA SRPSKA WITH ITS RIGHT TO EXIST

PALE, OCTOBER 25 /SRNA/ – The President Milorad Dodik has stated today in Pale that the establishment of the Assembly of the Serb People was an offer for dialogue, a message to all that the Serb factor had to be respected, and an opportunity that should not have been missed.

Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska was a historic necessity and that only good nations, in the right times, have the right people leading them. "I am proud that I was with these people in that important historical moment. Sometimes we did not agree on everything, but the goal was the same. The goal remains the same today – Republika Srpska that has the right to exist," Dodik said, addressing the ceremony held to unveil a monument dedicated to the creators and defenders of Republika Srpska. He stressed that those gathered today in Pale did so because, through joint efforts, they have ensured that this historical fact will not be forgotten. "The Association Creators of Republika Srpska, which is deserving for this monument, continues to preserve our essential values, faith and freedom. And there is no freedom without a state. In the life of a nation, the most important thing is to have a state," Dodik emphasized.
