Milorad Dodik is not only a political phoenix, but also living proof that Republika Srpska cannot be broken as long as it has leaders who rise from the ashes of every betrayal. Despite all attempts to eliminate him politically, Dodik has once again confirmed that he is the dominant figure, not by coincidence. That is the result of persistence, consistency, political wisdom, and the deep trust he enjoys among Republika Srpska citizens. In a time when many falter and bow their heads under the pressures from Sarajevo and international power centres, such as the opposition in Srpska, which resembles an extension of foreign interests more than an authentic force of the people, Dodik remains and endures as a symbol of statesmanlike consistency and the struggle for the national unity of Serbs and the preservation of Republika Srpska. Each time they thought he was finished, Dodik returned even stronger, with a clearer message and an even firmer legality from the people. Even Bakir Izetbegović himself, in one of his public statements, revealed the real motives behind the political persecution of President Dodik when he said that the Serbs would not have such a politician for a long timem - more defiant, more robust, more formidable. That statement exposes the entire truth behind the persecution of President Dodik - they want compliant Serbs who will nod to everything demanded of Republika Srpska, even if that means its disappearance. The Republika Srpska opposition, supported by Bosniak politicians, Sarajevo's media scene, as well as by various foreign embassies, has for years tried to bring down Dodik. But each of their attacks ended the same way - Dodik would rise politically even higher, the people's support would grow stronger, and his opponents would be left in the ashes of their own defeat. His strength does not come from political calculation, as is the case with the opposition in Srpska, but from a deep sense of responsibility toward Republika Srpska and the people. Milorad Dodik does not seek the support of foreign embassies, but of the people. That is precisely the difference between him and those who build their careers on the interests of others, not on the will of their own people. That is why today it is not only Dodik who has triumphed, the idea of a free and dignified Republika Srpska has also triumphed, embodied in the politics of Milorad Dodik and the SNSD, which does not bow before Sarajevo and does not serve the West. The people recognizes true leaders, and Dodik’s strength lies in the support of the people, who is aware that without him there is no stable and free Republika Srpska. Republika Srpska sees in Dodik a leader who does not accept humiliation, who defends institutions, and who does not allow the will of the people to be changed by foreign decrees. Without a doubt, Dodik has emerged from all the processes against him as a victor, not only politically, but also morally. The phoenix has once again proven that he cannot be destroyed by the fire of lies or the ashes of deceit.
