MEDIĆ: SERB HEROES WHO DEFENDED THEIR PEOPLE HONOURED IN PALE

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 27 /SRNA/ – The head of the Republika Srpska Creators Association Stevan Medić stated that in his speech during the unveiling of a memorial in Pale dedicated to the founders and defenders of Republika Srpska, he honoured Serb heroes who defended their people and the Republic.

"Among these heroes are General Ratko Mladić, as well as former president of Republika Srpska and the National Assembly speaker, Radovan Karadžić and Momčilo Krajišnik. I believe every Serb from these areas thinks the same way," Medić told SRNA. According to him, Mladić, Karadžić, and Krajišnik are Serb national heroes who merely defended their people and Republika Srpska. Medić believes that unnecessary commotion is being created in the Federation of BiH regarding the unveiling of the memorial and that there is no reason to raise tensions again. The Mothers of Srebrenica and Žepa Association criticized the unveiling of this memorial and called on the relevant judicial institutions to act due to the alleged glorification of war criminals.
