BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 28 /SRNA/ – The democratic constitutional order established by the Dayton Peace Agreement has unfortunately been altered and disrupted by illegal, dictatorial decrees issued by various international high representatives, most drastically by the current self-proclaimed official, Christian Schmidt, reads the report to the UN Security Council adopted by the Republika Srpska Government.

The report reaffirms Republika Srpska's commitment to the Dayton Peace Agreement and calls for its implementation in accordance with the original text, announced the Government’s Public Relations Bureau. Today, the Srpska Government adopted the 34th report to the UN Security Council, which, on behalf of Republika Srpska as a signatory of all annexes forming the Dayton Peace Agreement, was submitted to the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council member states by the prime minister. The report covers April - October period of the current year and, as in its previous reports, the Republika Srpska Government expresses its views on key issues and challenges BiH is facing, with the aim of clarifying its views to the member states of the Security Council and the international community. The report highlights the legal baselessness of the trial against the president of Republika Srpska and the court decisions themselves, as well as a series of proceedings that are not based on laws adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly in the prescribed procedure as required by the Constitution of BiH, but solely on accusations personally invented and imposed by Schmidt. At the end of the report, it is emphasized that, approaching the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement, all those concerned with the stability and success of BiH must recommit to the consistent application of its explicit provisions. The full text of the 34th report to the UN Security Council is available on the Republika Srpska Government's website in both Serbian and English.
