CVIJANOVIĆ: TIME FOR BiH TO END RELIANCE ON HARMFUL SERVICES OF FOREIGN DESTABILIZERS

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 28 /SRNA/ – Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović has stressed that political Sarajevo continues to advocate for Christian Schmidt, stressing that it is time for BiH to end its reliance on what she called harmful services of foreign destabilizers.

"It seems we've reached the point where Bakir Izetbegović and Šefik Džaferović are writing to the UN Security Council – and doing so as former members of the Presidency," Cvijanović posted on the social platform X. She added that in their desire to see the Office of the High Representative continue undermining democracy and the will of the people in BiH, they have become increasingly isolated and are now resorting to desperate measures. "In any case, it’s time for BiH to reject the harmful services of foreign destabilizers and for democratic institutions to finally start doing their job. The encouraging thing is that more and more important actors around the world are beginning to understand this," Cvijanović added. Izetbegović and Džaferović sent a letter to members of the UN Security Council ahead of the upcoming session on the situation in BiH, expressing concern over, as they put it, growing indications that the debate may include discussion on the future of the OHR.
