"TROIKA" COALITION'S STAFFING POLICY LED TO THE COLLAPSE OF SYSTEM
SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ – The head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić warns that the approach of the "Troika" coalition parties by appointing their own people to key positions without an objective assessment of competence, has led to the collapse of the system and a loss of public trust in institutions.
According to her, the policy pursued by certain representatives of the "Troika" parties, primarily Denis Bećirović and Elmedin Konaković, has proven to be destructive to the interests of BiH. “Their appointees deployed in diplomatic and consular missions around the world have contributed to the fact that BiH has effectively been left without a clear and credible foreign policy,” Vulić told SRNA. She warned that if figures such as Bećirović and Konaković continue acting in this way, BiH will persist on the path of institutional downfall, which will have long-term negative consequences for its international position and reputation. Vulić believes that it is essential to await the results of investigations by the competent authorities regarding media reports claiming that Major Memsudin Pamuk of the Armed Forces of BiH, appointed by Bećirović to serve as a staff officer representing BiH in NATO structures, was found not to have completed secondary education. "I believe it is necessary to maintain an institutional approach and wait for the results of all relevant checks and investigations by the competent authorities. We should not pass judgment on an individual prematurely, but rather wait for the official findings of the institutions," said Vulić. She emphasized that the responsibility for such situations does not lie with the individual appointed, but with those who insist at any cost on placing their own personnel in key positions without an objective verification of their qualifications. "It is precisely such an approach that has led to the collapse of the system and the loss of confidence in institutions," Vulić pointed out. According to Glas Srpske, Major Pamuk has been stripped of his security clearance to access classified information after it was determined that he did not complete secondary school.
