DODIK SAYS DECISION TO LIFT SANCTIONS MARKS MORAL AND LEGAL REHABILITATION OF SRPSKA
BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump and his associates for correcting the great injustice inflicted on Republika Srpska, its representatives and their families by the administrations of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden.
Dodik emphasized that the decision to lift sanctions represents not only a legal but also a moral rehabilitation of the truth about Republika Srpska and all those who serve it with honor. "Once again it has been proven that everything spoken against us was nothing but lies and propaganda, which built the great disorder created by Christian Schmidt - a disorder that now has to be cleaned up. To those who rejoiced over these years and believed in the lies of others, I can forgive everything except the years we have lost because they believed that Republika Srpska would fall. Today it is clear - it will never fall," Dodik posted on X. The US Department of the Treasury has lifted sanctions imposed on the President Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić, as well as other individuals and companies sanctioned during the previous U.S. administration.
