KOJIĆ: CITIZENS ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE OF THE STRUGGLE FOR POWER

EAST SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 8 /SRNA/ - In the Federation of BiH, politics is not being conducted in the interest of its citizens but solely to preserve those in power, and as a result, numerous scandals, incidents, and tragedies have shaken this entity in recent times, said Milorad Kojić, SNSD member of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

Kojić pointed out that this is a clear sign that the ruling political structures in the Federation are trying to divert public attention from various acts of corruption and criminal behavior. "We from Republika Srpska keep telling them that they already have more than enough problems in the Federation, yet they keep focusing on issues beyond their reach due to new geopolitical dynamics visible not only in BiH but across the entire world," Kojić emphasized. He said that for Bosniak politicians, staying in power is more important than the life of a helpless pensioner in Tuzla, the man whose home was destroyed by last year's floods in Jablanica, or a minor being exploited by people in positions of authority. Kojić added that maintaining power is also more important to them than clarifying scandals such as "Tito and Dino," related to the "Black Tie 2" case, which investigates the financing of the "People and Justice" party led by Elmedin Konaković, or the "Spengavanje" affair involving messages allegedly linked to Federation Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić. "For them, only the position matters - nothing else," Kojić concluded.
