DODIK: ELECTIONS ARE REFERENDUM AGAINST SCHMIDT AND FOR SINIŠA KARAN

FOČA, NOVEMBER 13 /SRNA/ – The President of SNSD Milorad Dodik emphasized this evening in Foča that the upcoming imposed presidential election in Republika Srpska represents a referendum against Christian Schmidt and in favor of Siniša Karan.

Dodik called on citizens to vote for the SNSD candidate for President of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, thereby voting for the continuity of the policies pursued by the current government. "Schmidt wanted to destroy Republika Srpska. This is a referendum against Schmidt, and for Karan and the policy I have led and will continue to lead in Srpska," Dodik said ahead of the central SNSD rally in Foča. Karan stressed that no will is above the will of the people, and that this is an opportunity for the citizens to reaffirm the choice they made three years ago. "Only the people decide their own destiny, no one else. This is, at the same time, a struggle against the occupiers, and a struggle against all those who have tried time and again to destroy the will of the Serb people," Karan added. The President of the SNSD Municipal Board in Foča Milan Vukadinović thanked the citizens who turned out in large numbers for tonight’s rally and expressed confidence that Karan will achieve a convincing victory in Foča and become the new President of Srpska.
