BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 18 /SRNA/ – Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Željko Budimir stated that Republika Srpska allocates substantial funds for security, which is why the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MoI/ expects maximum dedication from its officers, as they are responsible for the safety of all peoples in Srpska.

At the promotion ceremony and oath-taking of the 26th and 27th classes of Police Academy cadets, the minister said that members of the Interior Ministry hold a special calling and respond to the needs of their homeland. "The standards for the new generation of police officers are at the highest level, and those who perform their duties the best will be commended," Budimir said in his address at the ceremony. Head of the MOI Administration for Police Education Mile Šikman emphasized that police training is the foundation of the policing profession. "Functional education of police officers is essential, and both the theoretical and practical components of training are priorities. The knowledge acquired elevates our work to a higher level, and we place special focus on fostering a positive relationship with our citizens," Šikman highlighted.
