PAVIĆ: HUNGARY AS THE MOST TRUSTED ALLY OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – The meeting of the Republika Srpska delegation with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest is extremely significant for ensuring continuity of governance and stability in Srpska, political scientist Aleksandar Pavić stated for SRNA.

"Besides Moscow and the Trump administration, Hungary has proven to be the most reliable friend of Republika Srpska, the Serbian people, and Serbia in the current circumstances," Pavić emphasized. He said the meeting between Orbán and the delegation, composed of SNSD President Milorad Dodik, Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić-Babić, and the Minister for Science Siniša Karan, is important because even stronger cooperation has been agreed. Pavić noted that it is especially important that the meeting took place very soon after the early presidential election in Republika Srpska, adding that Orbán did this deliberately to help stabilize the political situation in Srpska. "This shows that Hungary stands firmly behind Republika Srpska and its current leadership," Pavić said. The Republika Srpska delegation held very productive talks today in Budapest with Orbán and his team, while Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó is scheduled to visit Banja Luka tomorrow.
