"HUNGARIAN FILM WEEKEND", SCREENING OF THE ROMANTIC COMEDY "I WENT TO RUN"
BANJA LUKA, November 29 /SRNA/ - The romantic comedy "I Went to Run", directed by Gábor Herendi, was screened this evening in Banja Luka as part of the "Hungarian Cultural Days" event.
Ester Riesz, a representative of the Embassy of Hungary in BiH, told reporters that the Embassy plans to implement several cultural projects in Banja Luka in the coming period, including film screenings, exhibitions, and concerts. "In this way, we promote Hungarian culture and tradition, which is the very purpose of events of this kind," Riesz stated. She thanked all those who attended tonight's film screening at the Banja Luka cinema. The President of the Hungarian Association "Mađar So" in Banja Luka, Iren Milivojević, explained that the event features films produced in recent years, which makes them appealing to a broader audience. She emphasized the importance of introducing the people of Banja Luka, as well as citizens throughout Republika Srpska, to Hungarian culture. "I want to offer as many cultural events as possible to my fellow citizens. For now, the turnout is good and we are very pleased," Milivojević said. According to her, cultural events are proof of the strong ties and friendly relations between Hungary and Republika Srpska. Milivojević noted that the Government of Hungary funds professional Hungarian language courses. The romantic comedy was screened at the "Cineplexx" cinema.
