AMIDŽIĆ: FOR KRNJIĆ, OPENING NEW GRADIŠKA BORDER CROSSING IS NOT PRIORITY

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 8 /SRNA/ - Member of the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ of BiH from the Federation of BiH, Zijad Krnjić, voted again today against amendments to the Rulebook on the Internal Organization of the ITA, thereby preventing the operation of the new Gradiška border crossing.

Chairman of the ITA Management Board Srđan Amidžić said that this reflects BiH and the overall situation in the country. He stated that this was a formal decision, but that Krnjić again voted against it, explaining that “this is not a priority.” “During the session, I asked him to give a reason for voting against, and the man simply said it is not a priority,” Amidžić told reporters after the session of the ITA Management Board. Amidžić emphasized that opening the new Gradiška border crossing would cut in half the lines of vehicles waiting at the border.
