NINE EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS TO RECEIVE SAINT SAVA AWARD

BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – The Saint Sava Award for the 2025/2026 school year will be presented to nine education professionals from preschool institutions, primary schools, and secondary schools across Republika Srpska.

BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – The Saint Sava Award for the 2025/2026 school year will be presented to nine education professionals from preschool institutions, primary schools, and secondary schools across Republika Srpska.



The recipients of the Saint Sava Award include preschool teacher Olivera Janjić from the Center for Preschool Education in Banja Luka, preschool teacher Mirjana Vujović from the Public Institution for Preschool Education "Naša radost" in Trebinje, and mathematics teacher Irena Radić from the "Aleksa Šantić" Primary School in Banja Luka. The award will also be presented to Serbian language and literature teacher Dijana Bogdanović from the "Zmaj Jova Jovanović" Primary School in Banja Luka, geography teacher Oksana Lunić from the "Holandija" Primary School in Slatina, and elementary school teacher Milena Štula from the "Sveti Sava" Primary School in Banja Luka. Recipients further include school counselor Branka Kovačević from the Hospitality and Economics School in Prijedor, practical training teacher Pajo Jovanović from the "Nikola Tesla" School of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka, and Serbian language and literature teacher Vedrana Mijović Pantelić from the "28 June" Secondary School in Istočno Novo Sarajevo. The Saint Sava Award, consisting of a Saint Sava Charter and a monetary prize, will be presented by Minister of Education and Culture Borivoje Golubović, and the award ceremony will be held on January 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Children’s Theatre of Republika Srpska, the ministry announced.
