DODIK: IN 2026, SUPPORT FOR ONE ANOTHER MUST BE SHOWN AT EVERY STEP
BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 31 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik extended New Year's greetings to the people of Republika Srpska, expressing confidence that the coming year will be one of peace, stability, increased love, unity, and the necessary mutual support that must be demonstrated at every step.
"Dear people of Republika Srpska, behind us is a difficult year, challenging in many respects, but the main objective was to preserve peace and stability. I must say that we succeeded in this – we preserved the peace and stability of Republika Srpska, reflected in its economic, political, institutional, and every other form," Dodik said in a video message published on X. Dodik noted that Republika Srpska is today certainly stable, a fact acknowledged even by those who do not support it. "Those of us who love Republika Srpska must understand that it is entering the next year filled with love and the desire to continue safeguarding peace and stability, building our institutions, and closely observing global developments, because we must be aware that the year ahead may be one of the most uncertain in modern history," Dodik pointed out. He explained that there are global tensions that could potentially trigger worldwide conflicts. "Our role is to believe that this will not happen. Here, we want to continue developing our economy, building highways, hospitals, hydro and thermal power plants, and ensuring our economic, energy, and overall stability. I believe we are capable of this. What is needed is even greater unity around the idea called Republika Srpska, around our people – primarily the Serb people, but also all other citizens who live in Republika Srpska," Dodik stressed. He said that the New Year is a time of hope and new beginnings, wishing citizens happiness and good health as they welcome it, surrounded by the people they love. "May each of your days be filled with understanding, solidarity, and joy. Happy New Year to you, long live Republika Srpska, and may you all be alive and well," Dodik concluded.
