JATRAS: SRPSKA IS BEACON OF BRAVERY AND ADHERENCE TO PRINCIPLE

BIJELJINA, JANUARY 8 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska stands as a beacon of bravery and adherence to principle, said a prominent American analyst and former diplomat James Jatras.

He told SRNA that he was pleased to extend his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the people of Srpska on the occasion of the Day of the Republic and the 34th anniversary of the founding of Republika Srpska. Jatras stated that the Serbs living in Republika Srpska have good reason to be proud of their perseverance under challenges to their very existence that would have defeated a lesser people. "In the very fluid - and still dangerous - situation in which the broader region of Central and Eastern Europe finds itself, Republika Srpska stands as a beacon of bravery and adherence to principle," Jatras said. Jatras noted his particular admiration for the SNSD leader Milorad Dodik for the way he has thwarted the coordinated campaign against him by illegitimate "authorities" claiming to represent the "international community". "I am confident that the future of Republika Srpska and of the whole Serbian people will be a bright one", Jatras concluded.
