DODIK: EUROPE TODAY IS LIVING CONSEQUENCES OF ITS PAST DECISIONS
BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 18 /SRNA/ - SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik says Europe today is living with the consequences of its past decisions.
"Those who ignored all norms and values, those who violated rules that had been respected for decades, today remember the principles," Dodik posted on X. According to him, it is both laughable and cynical that the European elites are now giving lessons on international law and sovereignty, when we know what they did in the former Yugoslavia. This same law, he added, Europe has trampled on for years in BiH, through constant attempts to undermine and strip Republika Srpska of its powers and violate the Dayton Peace Agreement. "It was easy for them to play by the rules when force was in their hands, with American protection. Now, when U.S. President Donald Trump proclaimed the 'America First' idea, and decisions are no longer made in European offices, suddenly they want to invoke international law – the very law they were the first to repeatedly trample on," Dodik added.
