KOVAČEVIĆ: DODIK POSITIONED REPUBLIKA SRPSKA AS A DECISION-MAKING SUBJECT, WHILE KONAKOVIĆ POSITIONED BiH AS AN OBJECT DECIDED UPON BY OTHERS

BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 3 /SRNA/ - Officials of the Republika Srpska have, in just the last seven days, held official bilateral meetings with the president, prime minister, parliament speaker and foreign minister of Israel, the prime minister of Hungary, the president of Serbia, and the U.S. secretary of commerce and one of the closest associates of U.S. President Donald Trump, said Serb delegate to the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Radovan Kovačević.

"This clearly shows how recognized and respected the Republika Srpska currently is," Kovačević posted on the social network X, commenting on the latest media appearances by Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković, in which he again criticized the leadership of the Republika Srpska and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik. On the other hand, he added, the minister of foreign affairs in the Council of Ministers /Elmedin Konaković/ managed during the same period to hold one meeting, with a representative of the Bosniak community from North Macedonia. "No matter how much they tried in Sarajevo for it to be different, Milorad Dodik has obviously managed to position the Republika Srpska as a political subject that makes decisions, while the only result of Konaković and Sarajevo is that BiH is nothing more than an object of politics decided upon by others. And we will decide," wrote Kovačević, who is also the spokesperson of SNSD.
