UGLJEVIK, FEBRUARY 4 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić announced talks with Slovenian representatives scheduled for tomorrow and assessed that the time has come to conclude the long negotiation process regarding the remaining agreement that defines compensation for interest determined by the arbitration ruling related to the Mine and Thermal Power Plant /RiTE/ Ugljevik.

"We expect understanding from the Slovenian side regarding the issues and problems we have, which we will present to them, and I expect they will be ready for a fair and constructive approach," Đokić told reporters during his visit to RiTE Ugljevik. He added that the Slovenian side has been fair so far and that there is nothing to object to in that regard. "They want to protect their rights and to ensure the implementation of what was determined by the arbitration ruling as an obligation we have towards them, and we must fulfill that obligation," Đokić emphasized.
