TREBINJE, FEBRUARY 6 /SRNA/ - The city of Trebinje has been included in the latest European edition of the publication "Best Sports Practices 2025," which provides an overview of local communities recognized for their successful and high-quality sports programs.
"Including Trebinje in this edition is yet another confirmation of its status as a European City of Sport for 2025, an honor awarded to Trebinje by ACES Europe – the leading European association focused on the development of innovative, inclusive, and accessible sports initiatives," the City Administration announced. A press release highlighted that this edition provides an overview of the most successful sports activities carried out in Trebinje, with special attention given to programs with a strong social and humanitarian focus, as well as initiatives that contribute to improving health and fostering community connections. "These are programs that have been continuously implemented for many years, with significant support from the Trebinje City Administration and active participation from numerous citizens," the press release reads.
