KOŠARAC: OPPOSITION READY FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT TO ACCEPT ELECTORAL DEFEAT

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 6 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac told SRNA that the opposition in Republika Srpska is ready for anything except accepting electoral defeat and respecting the will of the Serb people.

Košarac stated that they are being strongly supported in this by political Sarajevo, what he described as illegitimate Christian Schmidt, the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH, and the Constitutional Court of BiH. "They are aware that they cannot defeat the policies of Milorad Dodik and Siniša Karan in elections, because they are supported by the citizens of Republika Srpska," Košarac said. He emphasized that those policies represent the will of Republika Srpska and the Serb people. "Opposition candidate Branko Blanuša is a project of Sarajevo, Schmidt, the CEC and the Constitutional Court of BiH and their joint actions against Republika Srpska," Košarac added. He believes that repeat elections at certain polling stations in 17 local communities are being held according to their dictates rather than out of necessity. "These elections are a choice between the will of the Serb people and the will of Sarajevo, Schmidt and the CEC. We are not naive. We clearly understand what they are doing. And what they are doing is futile," Košarac said. He reiterated that the Serb people will once again confirm their will on Sunday, February 8, and reaffirm the victory of Siniša Karan. "Republika Srpska will win," Košarac concluded.
