DODIK ANNOUNCES LIKELY REPUBLIKA SRPSKA VISIT TO USA IN MARCH

BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 7 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik announced that the Republika Srpska delegation will likely travel to the United States again in early March, and that such visits will become more frequent in order to further clarify and strengthen Republika Srpska’s position and plans.

Dodik said that the activities of the Republika Srpska delegation in Washington will also be discussed at other venues in the coming days, and that Serbia’s officials will also be informed about the visit. He emphasized that Republika Srpska’s diplomatic paths must lead to the United States, Israel, and Russia, rather than Europe, because Europe can no longer help Republika Srpska on its own. Dodik said that he fully supports US President Donald Trump’s assessment that Europe has failed, that it has no chance, and that it has only another year to try to recover. "It is estimated that many European governments will face a major crisis after stability and peace are established in Ukraine," Dodik said, pointing out that the governments in France, Germany, and the Netherlands are particularly on a bad standing. He stressed that this is something that needs to be carefully considered. "That is why it is important for us to cooperate with everyone within Republika Srpska," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka following the delegation’s visit to Washington. Dodik called on all actors in Republika Srpska, both government and opposition, to start a strategic-level dialogue in the coming days and to reach agreements. "We need to take advantage of the momentum that is being created, which is favorable for Republika Srpska," Dodik underlined.
