RAJILIĆ: BIH COURT AND PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE TURNING BLIND EYE TO WAR CHANTS IN BIHAĆ
BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 8 /SRNA/ – The President of the Republika Srpska Association of Women Victims of War, Božica Živković Rajilić, stated that the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH do not want to see the use of firearms and war cries at the gathering in Hasin Vrh near Bihać, which was held just a few kilometers from Serb returnee villages.
"It is condemnable how the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH are acting, as they refuse to acknowledge such a gathering that looked as if war could break out tonight," Rajilić told SRNA. She pointed out that chanting war cries and firing weapons is not considered a criminal offense by the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, but raising three fingers and displaying images of General Ratko Mladić and the first president of Republika Srpska, Radovan Karadžić, is. Rajilić said that Miodrag Malić, who was sentenced by the Court of BiH to three years in prison simply because he carried pictures of historical figures and raised three fingers at a gathering in Banja Luka, did not say anything offensive to anyone, did not fire a weapon, and did not call for war. "The Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH do not react when Bosniaks gather every year in the area of Bihać, Bužim, and surrounding municipalities carrying war flags, and this year they even fired weapons. This means that Muslims cannot be prosecuted and that everything they do is deemed acceptable by the Court and Prosecutor’s Office," Rajilić said. She reminded that it took the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH 12 years to bring charges against the commander of the so-called Fifth Corps of the Army of BiH, Atif Dudaković, for war crimes in Western Krajina, and that they now claim they cannot prosecute him because he is old and ill. Rajilić assessed that this is a politically influenced staff within the Court and Prosecutor’s Office, which by this conduct is expressing hatred toward Serbs.
