ČUBRILOVIĆ: KARAN ELECTORAL WIN REFLECTS DEMOCRATIC WILL OF THE PEOPLE

BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 8 /SRNA/ – DEMOS President Nedeljko Čubrilović has stated tonight that the results of the repeated presidential elections in Republika Srpska and the victory of Siniša Karan were expected.

"The citizens of Republika Srpska have once again demonstrated a high level of national responsibility," Čubrilović said. He pointed out that Karan’s victory confirms that Republika Srpska is a democratic society where the voice of the people is respected, not directives from illegitimate centers of power that openly act against the interests of the Serb people. "I thank all city and municipal DEMOS organizations that gave their full contribution to the victory of the governing coalition's candidate in Srpska," Čubrilović said.
