DODIK: WE WILL PROPOSE TO NATIONAL ASSEMBLY THAT POWERS TAKEN FROM SRPSKA BE RESTORED

BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 9 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik announced that he will propose to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska that all the powers granted to Republika Srpska under the Dayton Agreement be restored, and that this will be a condition for negotiations.

Dodik emphasized that this means the return of the army, border police, intelligence services, the fiscal system model, in other words, only what is provided for by the Dayton Agreement. He emphasized that he believed this moment would come, stressing that they fought to ensure that the blows they received would not be passed on to the people. He stated that the people of Republika Srpska once again stood on the defense of freedom, Republika Srpska, and independence, and he congratulated everyone who endured humiliation, kept their faith, and did not give up, but trusted in the recognizable policies of the SNSD. Dodik emphasized that politics is defined in different ways, like a game that can get dirty, and noted how the CEC thought they could easily play with the will of the people. "They thought the SNSD was just a hunting club and believed they could settle a score with us. Republika Srpska is not enough for us; we want more," Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka. He also reminded that several months ago, there were threats of war coming from the FBiH, stating that he does not consider them serious but does regard them as enemies. "We are aware of our enemies, and the people must know that you have to inflict losses on them every day," Dodik said, adding that this enemy is political Sarajevo.
