ALL IMPOSED LAWS AT BiH LEVEL SHOULD BE REVIEWED
BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 9 /SRNA/ - The newly elected President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan pointed out that at the level of BiH, all laws that created institutions by imposing decisions of high representatives and extra-constitutional procedures must be reviewed, inviting the opposition to participate in this, because at the level of BiH there must be one party called Republika Srpska.
Karan emphasized that yesterday's repeated elections showed that Republika Srpska is sovereign and will remain so as long as it chooses its own representatives. "The elections demonstrated the sovereignty of the people, which is one of the greatest civilizational achievements in the last few hundred years. This sovereignty is reflected in the fact that it chooses its own representatives and that representative democracy is a feature of every sovereign nation," Karan said. Karan said that BiH will never be a unitary state and that the two biggest dangers for Republika Srpska and BiH are reflected in the usurpation of electoral rights and the judicial system, which has the function of fighting against Srpska. "Their function is to threaten Srpska and its institutions as much as possible, so that they do not function and so that they depend on Sarajevo. In such a state as they want, Christians - Serbs and Croats would only be national minorities," said Karan at the SNSD press conference in Banja Luka. He stated that a difficult task lies before the leadership of Republika Srpska, which is reflected in the fact that two resources - the electoral legislation and the judicial system - should be reviewed. Karan said that Republika Srpska was attacked in its core, as a member of the federal, complex multi-ethnic BiH, which by definition is a union of states. " Republika Srpska has its full constitutional autonomy and independence, which is manifested in its right to elect its own officials, the right to have its own judicial system," said Karan.
