MASTILOVIĆ: GOAL - MEMBERSHIP IN THE EUROPEAN QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSOCIATION
BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 11 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska Draga Mastilović stated today in Banja Luka that this year’s goal is the admission of the Republika Srpska Agency for Higher Education into the European Quality Assurance Agency.
"The Agency is an important factor in the education system of Republika Srpska. The Ministry provides full support and assistance to the Agency's work. Networking within the European Quality Assurance Agency is crucial. I express my gratitude to the leadership for their great effort to ensure that Republika Srpska becomes part of the European higher education area," Mastilović said after a meeting with the Agency’s director, Biljana Vojvodić. Vojvodić emphasized that such membership would be highly significant for Republika Srpska, as it would position Srpska as an independent and relevant actor within the European higher education space. "Activities for joining the European Quality Assurance Association are currently underway," Vojvodić stated. She said that experts are expected to visit in May, and all activities should ideally be completed by year-end. "I believe that by the end of the year, everything should be finished, and we will know whether the outcome is as we hope," Vojvodić said. She also emphasized that the Government of Republika Srpska and the relevant ministry have recognized the Agency's importance and have provided strong support for its work.
