TRIŠIĆ-BABIĆ: SRPSKA COMMITTED TO PRESERVING ITS CONSTITUTIONAL POSITION AND COMPETENCIES
BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 11 /SRNA/ - Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić-Babić stated that Srpska remains strongly committed to dialogue, peace, and stability, as well as to preserving its constitutional position and competencies.
During a meeting in Banja Luka with Eirik Nestas Mathisen, Special Envoy for the Western Balkans from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trišić-Babić emphasized that the Republika Srpska delegation had an exceptionally successful multi-day visit to the United States, where it encountered a great deal of understanding for its position during meetings with senior U.S. officials. Trišić-Babić and Mathisen also discussed current political issues in Republika Srpska and BiH, the Office of the President of Republika Srpska reported. The meeting was also attended by the Norwegian Ambassador to BiH Kathrine Biering.
