AMERICA VALUES ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH BiH IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CRIME

SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 13 /SRNA/ - The United States values its partnership with BiH in the global fight against transnational organized crime, it was emphasized today at a meeting between the Director of the U.S. Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs for Europe and Asia, Mark Tervakoski, and the heads of police agencies in BiH.

The meeting was attended by the Director of Police of Republika Srpska, Siniša Kostrešević, the Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency /SIPA/, Darko Ćulum, and his deputy, Dragan Andrić, as well as the Director and Deputy Director of the Border Police of BiH, Mirko Kuprešaković and Esad Koroman, the U.S. Embassy announced. The meeting discussed the possibility of strengthening joint efforts to dismantle criminal networks that profit from drug trafficking, human smuggling, and other illegal activities.
