GINKEL CONGRATULATED PRESIDENT OF SRPSKA SINIŠA KARAN
SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 17 /SRNA/ - The Chargé d'Affaires in the US Embassy in BiH John Ginkel congratulated the President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan on his election victory, and said that the USA remains committed to constructive cooperation with Srpska and partners throughout BiH.
Ginkel held a meaningful and productive meeting with Karan and former Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić-Babić, during which they discussed partnership, cooperation and better opportunities for all citizens of BiH, including Republika Srpska. "The US remains committed to constructive cooperation with the Republika Srpska and partners throughout BiH - with the aim of expanding joint opportunities, strengthening long-term stability and encouraging American investments that will contribute to a more prosperous future for both our countries," the US Embassy in BiH announced on X. The new President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan was sworn in today in the National Assembly. The BiH Central Election Commission confirmed on February 13 that Karan, the SNSD candidate, was elected president of Republika Srpska.
