DODIK: NO STRUGGLE FOR MULTIPOLAR WORLD WITHOUT RUSSIA
MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 19 /SRNA/ – SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik said that the talks on multipolarity in the world was initiated thanks to the efforts of Russia and its president Vladimir Putin, emphasizing that the West failed to do to Russia what it did in the Balkans.
According to him, when it is said at international forums that the world is changing, that it is ceasing to be unipolar and becoming multipolar, the reasons for this are sometimes forgotten. "If it had not been for the struggle of Russia and President Putin, who advocates for an equal world, the question arises whether there would be a struggle for multipolarity today at all," Dodik told RIA Novosti. He noted that Russia launched the Special Military Operation in order to create an equal multipolar world, stressing that the West did not succeed in doing to Russia what it did in the Balkans. Dodik stated that the Russian Federation had to react and demonstrate its capabilities, and that it was forced to enter the Special Military Operation. According to him, had that operation not been launched, many processes similar to those currently taking place would have occurred on Russian territory. "Such are the intentions of Western circles – they first tested those processes on us in the Balkans, but they forgot that Russia is a powerful and large country and that it cannot be isolated like Serbia. It is not possible to impose on Russia what was imposed on us," Dodik emphasized. He added that, for Europe in the processes of global change, Russia is the winner, which is indeed the goal of the Russian Federation, and that is why it and its president are leading in this era and represent a civilizational novelty.
