THIRTEEN MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS FROM SRPSKA PRESENTED AT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 24 /SRNA/ - At the international conference on health tourism held today in Vienna, 13 medical institutions from Republika Srpska were successfully presented.
The Minister of Health and Social Welfare Alen Šeranić, who leads a delegation from Republika Srpska with more than 40 members, told SRNA that the conference facilitated the exchange of experiences and knowledge aimed at accelerating the development of local medical institutions. He reminded that Republika Srpska has invested around €250 million in the renovation and construction of new facilities within the public healthcare system, thereby raising overall capacities to a significantly higher level. "Over the past five to six years, healthcare in Republika Srpska has been focused on providing the highest possible quality of services in the most cost-effective manner," Alen Šeranić said. The Head of the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Austria Mladen Filipović said that the international conference represents a continuation of communication between institutions and provides an excellent opportunity to deepen cooperation. Professor Tamara Kovačević-Preradović emphasized that Republika Srpska offers high-quality and modern medical services, follows global trends, regularly participates in the most important international educational programs, and applies the most advanced technologies in everyday practice, including artificial intelligence. "All of this represents a strong and reliable foundation for offering patients from Austria top-tier, safe, and competitive healthcare services, fully aligned with European standards," Kovačević-Preradović said. Vladimir Blagojević from the MedNet agency in Banja Luka pointed to concrete advances and international recognition related to presenting the offerings of medical institutions and connecting domestic clinics with interested clients from Austria. The conference Booking Health Europe & Srpska, organized by the agencies MedNet and Tree Rocks from Banja Luka, with the support of the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Austria and the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska, is attended by more than 100 participants, predominantly from Austria and Republika Srpska.
