ENERGY SUMMIT TO BE HELD IN TREBINJE, MARCH 25-27
TREBINJE, FEBRUARY 25 /SRNA/ - The SET – Trebinje 2026 Energy Summit will be held from March 25 to 27 at the Cultural Center in Trebinje, under the slogan "AI Drives and Shapes the Energy Future of the Region".
This year's program features three days of intensive panel discussions and expert presentations, with a special focus on the application of artificial intelligence in the energy sector and the digitalization of the power system; investments in renewable energy sources and competition for grid capacity; the electricity market, exchange integration, and PPA models; the impact of the CBAM mechanism on the energy sector in BiH and the region; grid modernization, smart systems and flexibility; and geothermal and nuclear energy as part of the future energy mix. SET Trebinje 2026 addresses key issues of energy stability, sustainability, and competitiveness of the Western Balkans in the process of transition toward a low-carbon economy. Organized by the company Samit Energetike – SET, the seventh Summit will bring together leading energy experts, representatives of institutions, decision-makers, investors, and companies from across the region. Today, the Summit is recognized as one of the most significant regional platforms for dialogue on the energy transition, investments, and technological innovation. It is held with the support of the Government of Republika Srpska, the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska, Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske, the city of Trebinje, and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers, with general sponsorship by the company ELNOS Group.
