CONGRATULATIONS TO KABIRI ON IMPORTANT AGREEMENT OPENING NEW ENERGY PROSPECTS
BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 26 /SRNA/ - SNSD president Milorad Dodik congratulated Amir Kabiri, president of the M.T. Abraham Group, on an important agreement that opens new energy prospects and brings stability to the region's development.
The president of the M.T. Abraham Group Amir Gross Kabiri and the president of Atlantic Sea LNG Trade Alexandros Exarchou signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Washington, D.C., establishing a framework for a long-term contract for supplies of liquefied natural gas /LNG/. Dodik emphasized that Kabiri's business success is a confirmation of vision, perseverance, and a serious approach to strategic projects. "I am particularly pleased that Amir Kabiri is a proven friend of Republika Srpska and a man who understands its potential and importance in regional economic flows. It is good that he, together with Republika Srpska, has built yet another strong bridge of cooperation with the United States," Dodik wrote on X. The Abraham Group announced that the agreement secures stable supplies of U.S. LNG for the Aluminum Industry, a subsidiary of the M.T. Abraham Group and one of the largest aluminum producers in Southeast Europe. LNG will be supplied by the company Venture Global Commodities via the southern gas interconnection pipeline and will be used in the planned combined-cycle gas-and-steam power plant of the Aluminum Industry. It was emphasized that this represents the most significant project involving supplies of U.S. LNG in BiH and the region.
