CVIJANOVIĆ: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA INTERESTED IN NEW US INVESTMENTS

WASHINGTON, MARCH 6 /SRNA/ – During a meeting with the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, the Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović supported planned American projects in BiH and expressed Republika Srpska’s interest in new investments from the USA.

"I am convinced that strengthening economic cooperation is the path toward development and prosperity, as well as toward improving overall relations with the USA," Cvijanović posted on X. She emphasized that speaking with Lutnick, Secretary of Commerce in the administration of President Donald Trump, is always a pleasure and privilege. "I expressed immense gratitude for the warm reception he organised in his office, as well as for another substantive and constructive meeting, the third overall and the second since the beginning of the year," Cvijanović stated. She stressed that once again the main focus was on economic topics and possibilities for concretizing cooperation, particularly in the fields of energy and infrastructure.
