KOVAČEVIĆ: IT WAS CONFIRMED ONCE AGAIN THAT REPUBLIKA SRPSKA HAS A TRUE FRIEND IN ISRAEL

WASHINGTON, MARCH 6 /SRNA/ - Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, showed excellent familiarity with and knowledge of the situation in Republika Srpska, BiH, and the region, said Radovan Kovačević, a Serb member of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

“An excellent and very important meeting with friends. It has been confirmed once again that Republika Srpska has a true friend in Israel and that we can always count on mutual assistance,” Kovačević wrote on X after the meeting with Ambassador Leiter. As part of their visit to the United States, the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, and Kovačević spoke with Leiter in Washington about the political, economic, and security situation in BiH, as well as Republika Srpska’s efforts to preserve its constitutional position.
