DODIK: KONAKOVIĆ, ALKALAJ AND LAGUMDŽIJA ARE SPOKESPERSONS FOR WAR POLICIES, NOT BiH
BANJA LUKA, MARCH 26 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik stated that Elmedin Konaković, Sven Alkalaj and Zlatko Lagumdžija do not represent BiH, but are spokespersons of the wartime policy of Alija Izetbegović, adding that it is cynical to use the Sarajevo Haggadah as a prop to prove "coexistence".
"Konaković, Alkalaj, and Lagumdžija do not represent BiH; they are merely spokespersons of the Islamic Declaration and the wartime politics of Alija Izetbegović, which dragged BiH into war and has not given up on the goal of expelling all non-Muslims, primarily Serbs and Croats, to this day", said Dodik. Dodik emphasized that it is cynical to use the Sarajevo Haggadah as a prop to demonstrate "coexistence", and even more tragic if used for personal promotion, as pointed out by the management of the National Museum. "Of the 12,000 Jews in Sarajevo before the Second World War, 80 percent ended up with their Serbian neighbors in Jasenovac, Gradina, or Auschwitz. At the same time, with the blessing of Islamic religious leaders, the SS Hanjar Division was formed, and the city was governed by Ustasha mayors of Islamic faith," Dodik posted on X. He stressed that one circus in Washington cannot erase the memory of the Jewish people and the civilized world. "It cannot be forgotten that Qassem Soleimani trained his fighters in Bosnia against Serbs, that Alija Izetbegović posed with Khamenei and enjoyed his support, nor that today’s Sarajevo prevents European rabbis from holding gatherings - with open hate speech from ministerial positions of the 'troika' in the Federation Government," Dodik stated. He emphasized that fake smiles in America cannot hide reality, that Jews are not welcome in Sarajevo, that anti-Semitic posters are a daily occurrence, that Hamas is supported, and that October 7 is celebrated. According to Dodik, if the Haggadah truly belongs to BiH and not to their private ownership, Serbs have no objection to it being handed over to Israel. "I believe Croats would have no objection either. That would be a sincere gesture of repentance by the Muslim side, as they, as the Ustasha flower, contributed the most to Sarajevo losing 80 percent of its Jewish community, thanks to which the Haggadah even arrived here," Dodik emphasized. He noted that the Washington event was a complete fiasco, with no more than one US Congress representative attending. In the same week when they signed a pan-Muslim statement, essentially the Islamic Declaration, a document still aimed at the destruction of Christians in BiH – Dodik stated that they tried to present themselves as "tolerant". "Unfortunately for them, contemporary Sarajevo, the reality of BiH, and bare historical truth show that they have nothing to do with coexistence and tolerance. The truth is stronger than any performance," Dodik said.
