DODIK: SNSD’S STRENGTH REFLECTS REPUBLIKA SRPSKA’S STABILITY
BANJA LUKA, MARCH 28 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik told the opposition that they will be defeated and that, after the past ten days of their policies, it is clear that Republika Srpska is as strong as SNSD is strong.
Dodik stated that after decades of leading Republika Srpska through various positions and challenges, he often wishes SNSD had a more serious and responsible opposition. "One that sees beyond hatred toward me and knows how to strengthen Republika Srpska in moments of success or challenge, rather than undermine it. But in the past ten days or so, the opposition has behaved in an almost unbelievable way, even by its own standards," Dodik posted on the social network X. He added that the opposition remained silent about the Muslim declaration in Sarajevo, which he described as a direct political attack on Serb and Christian interests in BiH, while at the same time strongly criticizing the foreign policy and economic validation of Republika Srpska’s stability on the London Stock Exchange, which he said has also been confirmed by numerous regional economic authorities in their statements. "It is unbelievable that at a time when rivals in Sarajevo are standing together out of hostility toward Republika Srpska, you are unable to stand at least once in support of your Republika out of love for it," the SNSD leader said. Dodik raised the question of whether it is possible that they have more hatred toward him than love for Republika Srpska. "You didn’t have to say well done, great, or excellent. You didn’t have to praise the government for its success and the economic validation on the London Stock Exchange. You could have at least remained silent, as you do regarding the Reis’s, Bakir’s, and Dino’s statements," Dodik pointed out. He added that the opposition chose to belittle its own Republika simply because it achieved success, and that they will then once again be surprised by this year’s election results. "You will blame illuminati, traffic lights, horoscopes, Putin, Zelensky, Trump, Serbia, and everyone else-everyone but yourselves, even though you will end up searching among yourselves for the culprit of the defeat," Dodik stated. He concluded that SNSD will win because the party has demonstrated the ability to withstand what would break many others. "Nothing can move us off that path, because while the winds blow against us, we draw strength from our clear sense of purpose. That is why, after the past ten days of your policies, it is clear: as strong as SNSD is, so strong is Republika Srpska," Dodik emphasized.
