ŠPIRIĆ: THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF BiH IS A BATON IN THE HANDS OF INTERNATIONAL POWER CENTERS AND POLITICAL SARAJEVO

SARAJEVO, MARCH 30 /SRNA/ - Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Nikola Špirić told SRNA that the "incomplete" Constitutional Court of BiH has, since its establishment, acted as a baton in the hands of international centers of power and political Sarajevo against the Serbs and Republika Srpska, and that this institution will not have support in Republika Srpska until a law on the Constitutional Court is adopted.

"From Dayton until today, the Constitutional Court of BiH has generated indignation among citizens in Republika Srpska, as it represents a baton in the hands of various international centers of power and political Sarajevo, used against the Serbs and Republika Srpska," Špirić said. Until a law on the Constitutional Court is adopted that would establish the legitimacy of this institution, Špirić says, the "incomplete" Constitutional Court of BiH will not be taken seriously in Republika Srpska, and will certainly not have support. Last week, the "incomplete" Constitutional Court of BiH issued several decisions concerning Republika Srpska in response to requests for constitutional review, including declaring the Draft Constitution of Republika Srpska and several articles of the Law on Police and Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska unconstitutional.
