BUDIMIR: IF REPORTS TRUE, SCHMIDT’S DEPARTURE TO LEAVE DISORDER IN BiH

BANJALUKA, APRIL 6 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Minister of Interior Željko Budimir said that, if reports of Christian Schmidt's departure are true, he will leave behind chaos in BiH.

“Schmidt should not have come to BiH in the first place, as he did so in an illegal and forceful manner,” Budimir told reporters in Banja Luka. Commenting on claims by Foreign Minister in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković that "Schmidt will soon leave", Budimir said he does not know what information Konaković has, but that it is usually unverifiable and false. "He is a man of 'fake news'," Budimir said. Budimir stressed that every high representative, including what he described as the illegitimate Schmidt, has left behind an even worse situation that has not contributed to reconciliation, respect, or the rule of law in BiH.
